Luxury goods

The luxury goods market in Mexico targets 8,8% of the population. This number reflects those people at the highest socioeconomic level.

 According to the international consulting firm KPMG, around 7 million people are  in the socioeconomic levels A, A+ and B+.

 

The luxury market in Mexico is also benefited by the expansion of credits and other financial services.

 

ACNielsen consulting positions Mexico as the fourth main consumer of luxury goods, surpassing Brazil and Argentina in the region. Armani, Gucci and Versace are the main brands pursued by Mexicans. Hugo Boss, who has 165 stores in Latin America, reports that 48% of their sales in the region come from Mexico.
